We exprienced a fresh breeze of nature when walking into the space at WdKA graduation show, seeing Kaspers the wood sculptures. The movement in the wooden surface, his own signature becoming one with the tree trunk. We selected three works that expresses his craftmanship and creative ideas. Kasper Boelens (2000) is a designer, artist and photographer based in Rotterdam. Method: creating without conforming to medium, binary categorization of technique, or conventional ideas about function. Combining 2D, 3D, organic, physical, computer-generated, imitating, and craftsmanship.
